Qualification and Eligibility
The essential educational requirement is straightforward but must be met exactly:

- The candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination of CA or CMA.
- Final marks must be available because screening is based on the aggregate marks in Inter CA/Inter CMA.
- Candidates without final marks need not apply.
- Eligibility for practical training is also subject to the applicable terms and conditions of the candidate's professional institute.
- The percentage entered in the application should be the exact percentage and should not be rounded off.
Possessing the minimum qualification does not by itself guarantee an interview call. NPCIL will screen applications and call shortlisted candidates for the next stage.
Age Limit
The age is calculated as on 26 October 2026.
| Requirement | Limit |
|---|---|
| Minimum age | 18 years |
| Maximum age | 56 years |

The internship does not create a right to regular employment with NPCIL after completion of the training period.

| Category | Fee |
|---|---|
| All candidates | Nil |
Candidates should not make any payment to third parties claiming to secure an internship or interview call.
Selection Process
NPCIL will use a merit-based screening and interview process rather than a written examination.
- Screening on Inter CA/Inter CMA marks: applications are screened using the aggregate marks in the Intermediate examination.
- Shortlisting: candidates are shortlisted for interview in a 1:5 ratio based on aggregate marks.
- Virtual personal interview: shortlisted candidates appear for a personal interview in virtual mode through the concerned Unit/Region.
- Certificate verification: original eligibility and category documents are checked.
- Medical examination: selected candidates must meet NPCIL's prescribed medical requirements.
- Police/character verification: engagement is subject to the required police verification and character/conduct certificate.
For ties, the notification applies merit-order rules including Inter marks, age and alphabetical order where necessary.

How to Apply for NPCIL CA/CMA Intern Recruitment 2026
NPCIL accepts applications online only through its careers portal. Do not send a hard-copy application to NPCIL.
- First confirm that you have passed Inter CA or Inter CMA and have your final marks available. Use Regal Naukri's Eligibility Pre-check as a preparation aid, but treat the NPCIL advertisement as the final authority.
- Check your exact age on 26 October 2026 with the Regal Naukri Age Calculator before you enter your date-of-birth details.
- Prepare your academic, identity and reservation documents in advance. The Regal Naukri Government Job Document Checklist can help you organise what you need for the application and later verification stages.
- Prepare your photograph and signature in the file size and dimensions specified by NPCIL. If needed, use the Regal Naukri Photo Resizer to resize an existing photograph without changing the official specifications.
- Visit the NPCIL Careers portal and open the CA/CMA Intern 2026 recruitment.
- Choose Online Registration and enter your name, date of birth, category, email address and mobile number carefully.
- Open the activation link sent to your registered email and activate your account.
- Log in and complete the application sections for educational qualification, personal details, photograph/signature upload and final submission.
- Enter your exact Inter CA/CMA percentage without rounding. Review the draft before final submission because changes are not allowed after the application is submitted.
- Submit the form, note the generated application number and print/save the completed online application for your records.
Candidates who are new to online recruitment forms can also read Regal Naukri's How to Apply for Government Jobs in India guide for a broader explanation of registration, document preparation, uploads and final submission.
Important: Regal Naukri tools are preparation aids only. NPCIL's advertisement, corrigenda and official portal instructions determine actual eligibility and acceptance of the application.
Candidate Cautions
- Do not round off Inter CA/CMA marks in the online form.
- Do not use an email address that you may lose access to; NPCIL uses the registered email for recruitment communication.
- Category details entered in the application cannot simply be changed later.
- If more than one application is submitted, only the latest application is considered.
- Keep the application form and application number safely after submission.
- Candidates applying for more than one location should enter preferences as instructed; shortlisting is still based on Inter CA/CMA marks.
- OBC (NCL), EWS and other reserved-category candidates should ensure their certificates meet the date and format requirements printed in the notice.
- Do not assume this internship leads automatically to permanent NPCIL employment.
