How to check government job eligibility
- Open the official notification for one particular post and find its age cut-off date.
- Use its exact birth-date window if available; otherwise enter the age limits for a preliminary check.
- Enter any applicable additive upper-age relaxation only when the notice explicitly permits it.
- Check the qualification, subject, recognition and qualification cut-off date; enter the percentage fields only if relevant.
- Review the separate checks. Verify other conditions and any corrigendum directly with the recruiting authority.

Does a matching result mean I am eligible to apply?
No. The tool compares only the values you enter and your self-reported qualification. The authority may have other conditions and verify eligibility at a different stage.
Which age cut-off date should I enter?
Enter the date specified for the age requirement in the official notification. It may differ from the closing date or the qualification cut-off date.
Can I combine multiple age-relaxation categories?
Do not add them yourself. Use the actual category-specific birth-date range where provided. In preliminary mode, enter only a single additive relaxation expressly applicable to you under that notification.
What if the notice has an exact born-between range?
Choose the exact DOB window option. Enter the earliest and latest permitted dates for your applicable category without estimating them from an age limit.
