How to plan your application deadline
- Find the current closing date in the recruiting authority’s official notification or corrigendum.
- If the notice specifies an exact closing time in IST, select the exact-time option and enter it. Otherwise, keep date-only mode.
- Choose how many calendar days before the official deadline you would prefer to submit.
- Review your personal target and make sure the official application portal confirms successful submission.
With a closing date of 31 January and a two-day buffer, your personal target is 29 January. The official closing date remains 31 January, subject to the notification’s actual cut-off time and updates.

Does a closing date mean applications close at 11:59 p.m.?
Not necessarily. Different recruiting authorities use different times. In date-only mode the planner will not assume an hour. Check the official notice and application portal.
Which time zone is used for the exact-time countdown?
The exact-time option accepts a verified Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+05:30) closing time. If a notice uses another time zone, convert it accurately before using this mode.
Is my personal submit-by target an official date?
No. It is an optional planning target obtained by subtracting calendar days from the entered closing date. Your official deadline is unchanged.
Will this tool submit my form or send a reminder?
No. It neither submits an application nor schedules notifications. Complete your submission on the authority’s official portal and save the confirmation.
