Gun & Shell Factory Recruitment 2026: 40 Technical Posts

Gun & Shell Factory (GSF), Cossipore, a unit of Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AWEIL) under the Ministry of Defence, has invited offline applications for 40 technical posts on fixed-tenure contractual basis for production work.

Contract Period

The engagement does not create a right to regular employment in AWEIL.

Remuneration and Benefits

The official advertisement states that contractual employees will receive consolidated monthly remuneration based on the basic pay of the applicable CPC Level 1 plus Dearness Allowance under the notified rules.

For an eight-hour working day, daily remuneration is calculated proportionately from the applicable basic pay + DA.

Place of Posting

Selected candidates will be posted at Gun & Shell Factory, Cossipore, West Bengal.

Selection is based on a combination of NCVT/NCTVT marks and Trade Test / Practical Test.
