Selection Process

The recruitment uses three stages.

Stage IIIInterview / viva voce and document verification50 marks; candidates up to 3 times the vacancies are called after written and practical stages

The written examination carries two 100-mark parts: one covering English-related areas such as précis, essay, drafting/translation and grammar, and another covering general knowledge, current affairs and mathematics.

For the interview/viva voce, a candidate must obtain at least 60%, which is 30 out of 50 marks, to qualify. Final selection is based on the combined performance in the practical test and interview/viva voce after qualifying the required stages.
