AIIMS Nagpur has opened a fresh specialist recruitment for its Department of Nuclear Medicine, offering six contractual technical positions under a rolling advertisement dated 27 October 2026. The vacancies are evenly divided across three levels: two Technologist (Nuclear Medicine), two Technical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) and two Senior Technical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) posts. The first cut-off for applications is 10 November 2026 at 5:00 PM, although the advertisement will remain valid until all notified posts are filled and later cut-off dates may be announced for any vacancies left unfilled.

This recruitment is aimed at candidates with Nuclear Medicine Technology qualifications or the notified equivalent academic route. At the basic level, the posts require B.Sc or M.Sc-level Nuclear Medicine qualifications, with relevant experience mandatory for the higher technical posts. All six appointments are purely contractual for 11 months or until an alternate arrangement is made, whichever is earlier. Monthly consolidated remuneration ranges from ₹56,640 for Technologists to ₹1,08,320 for Senior Technical Officers. The age ceiling is 40 years. Applications are submitted through the Google Form specified in the AIIMS Nagpur notice, together with the prescribed application and supporting records. Candidates should match their qualification and experience carefully to the exact post before applying.

For the two officer-level posts, the basic qualification is at M.Sc Nuclear Medicine Technology / notified equivalent level. The higher posts also carry mandatory experience conditions, so candidates should not rely only on the degree title.

The full equivalence, marks and experience conditions in the official advertisement should be checked before submission.

Experience

The Technologist post does not list a mandatory experience period, although relevant Nuclear Medicine centre experience is preferred.

The Technical Officer post requires the notified five years of Nuclear Medicine technologist experience. The Senior Technical Officer post requires the notified two years of experience.

If you need to organise employment dates before checking your documents, use the Government Job Eligibility Checker together with your official experience certificates; AIIMS Nagpur alone decides whether the experience meets the advertisement.
