Use the Age Calculator to check your age against the applicable cut-off date.
Pay Scale
The Scientist posts carry different Pay Matrix levels:
| Post | Pay Matrix Level |

| Scientist F | Level 13A |
In addition to basic pay under the applicable level, selected candidates receive admissible benefits under Government of India and BRIC-RGCB rules, including applicable allowances and benefits.
Because the three grades carry different pay levels, candidates should refer to the post-wise level rather than treating this recruitment as having one common salary.
Application Fee
There is no application fee.
Applicants should submit the application only through the online route specified by BRIC-RGCB.
Research Areas
BRIC-RGCB is seeking scientists capable of building independent, multidisciplinary research programmes in high-priority areas that include:

Selection Process
Selection involves multiple stages.
Level 1 Screening
An Institutional Screening Committee checks whether applicants meet the minimum prescribed qualifications.
Level 2 Screening
A Faculty Screening Committee reviews credentials, publications, achievements and overall suitability of applicants who clear Level 1.
Final Selection
The Scientist Selection Committee interacts with shortlisted candidates, either in person or through video conferencing, to assess research plans, scientific vision, long-term career goals and potential contribution to BRIC-RGCB.
