Librarian Eligibility
Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, along with a Ph.D. in Library Science, Information Science, Documentation, Archives or Manuscript-keeping.
The post also requires evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in library operations, and substantial professional experience in a senior library role.
Deputy Librarian Eligibility
Candidates should possess a Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade, together with a Ph.D. in the relevant library/information/documentation field.
The post also requires significant professional experience as an Assistant Librarian or equivalent in higher education, research or a large scientific/technical library.
