The Jharkhand Space Applications Center (JSAC), Department of Information Technology & e-Governance, Government of Jharkhand, has announced 3 contractual project vacancies under Advertisement No. JSAC/2026/01.

The recruitment covers 2 Research Associate (RA) posts and 1 Junior Project Assistant (JPA) post. Online registration is scheduled from 21 October 2026 at 3:00 PM to 18 November 2026 at 9:00 PM. Research Associate Eligibility

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline such as Remote Sensing & GIS, Geo-informatics, Geology, Forestry, Geophysics, Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, Agriculture, Water Engineering & Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent; or satisfy the notified postgraduate qualification and experience route.

The advertisement also requires the notified research experience/publication conditions. Desirable skills include image processing and GIS software, DGPS survey, drone survey data collection and processing.

Junior Project Assistant Eligibility

Candidates should hold M.Sc. or M.Tech. in the relevant notified discipline with First Class from a recognised university or institution.
