Jammu & Kashmir Bank has released two separate recruitment notices exclusively for domiciles of the Union Territory of Ladakh, offering a combined 41 vacancies. Advertisement JKB/HR/Rectt/2026-494 covers 20 Probationary Officer posts, while Advertisement JKB/HR/Rectt/2026-495 covers 21 Banking Associate posts. Both notices opened online registration on 7 November 2026, and the application and fee-payment window closes on 26 November 2026. Candidates should choose the correct post before registering because the selection stages, pay, fee and some age-relaxation provisions differ between the PO and Banking Associate recruitments.

The basic educational requirement for both posts is a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university or an accepted equivalent qualification, and only candidates holding the required UT of Ladakh domicile are eligible under these two advertisements. The recruitment is particularly relevant for Ladakh graduates seeking a long-term banking career within the Bank's Ladakh Zone. Selected candidates must remain posted in the initially allotted Ladakh Zone for the prescribed minimum period of five years. Probationary Officer offers the officer-track route with a three-stage selection process, while Banking Associate uses a single online examination. Applicants should read the notification for their chosen post carefully before paying the fee or completing registration.
